And finishing up the Best of 2012 as we move further in to 2013...
October = Sandy. No review of 2012 is complete without a discussion of Hurricane Sandy, which thankfully spared Cape May for the most part, but not thankfully wreaked havoc further north on the Jersey Shore and in the NYC area.
I pretty busily 'tweeted' about Sandy as it occurred, and the blog became secondary. But here are my Sandy-related posts: one, two, three, and four. Check out those posts for many great photos and links to more in-depth Sandy coverage.
November: November saw the rise of what I think will become a new Cape May tradition, the Exit 0 Jazz fest. You can read about it HERE. The event was incredibly popular and I suspect will start to gain significant national attention in the next few years.
December - a review of the TedX event. Earlier in 2012, the Cape May Forum hosted a great day of speakers on success in the 21st century, a/k/a Recreation and Re-Creation. In December, the Forum made the talks available on Youtube. Watch them HERE.
And that's that.
I hope to get the blog moving again on a daily basis, following up on all the events that Cape May has to offer in a positive way. Here's to a great 2013!
