Fireworks in North Cape May on the Third of July: TODAY!

Today is the day to start your fireworks-viewing -- just head up Broadway, go over the back bridge that takes you to North Cape May and head to the Bay (follow the signs to the ferry) -- I recommend eating at Harpoon Henry's while waiting for those fireworks.  Here is your schedule for today's fireworks-viewing:

The Lower Township Independence Day Festival and Fireworks will be held Tue., July 3, beginning at 5 p.m. This event is along the bayfront in North Cape May between Lincoln Boulevard and Emerson Avenue. The event includes rides, food, entertainment, radio station giveaways, and much more. The fireworks will begin shortly after 9 p.m. If necessary, the rain date for this event is Thur., July 5.

And once again, here's your schedule for Cape May tomorrow:

Wednesday, July 4th:

4pm Dixieland Band with face painting, balloon sculptures, carnival games etc: Congress Hall
5-9 pm start with a Picnic Diner at Congress Hall (reasonable price)
6-9 pm Lobster Bake at Congress Hall (a bit pricey but worth it, need reservations)
8:00 Sing Along with Franny Smith
9pm Patriotic Musical Tribute from Congress Hall Choir
9:10pm Sing National Anthem

DUSK: FIREWORKS OFF THE BEACH IN FRONT OF CONGRESS HALL BEACH
