Space Age Tree Comes to Victorian Cape May
In what is an interesting mash-up of Victorian times with space age times, NASA has donated to Cape May a seedling tree that flew on the space shuttle. The Colonial House on Washington Street will prominently feature the tree for all to see; the tree is one of 35 seedlings that flew on the Space Shuttle and germinated much more quickly than they would have here on Earth.
That's the Colonial House in the photo; you can see City Hall off to the left in the photo.
